He has lost his job unfairly, and has been harassed and threatened in an effort to keep him from notifying officials about wrongdoing in the work place. Pray for wisdom for him, that God will send someone to wisely council him, and for protection. Pray that he will quickly find a job to support his family.
new worship services - August 11
Please pray for our new worship services with Holy Communion starting on Wednesday, September 1. Pray that our services will be pleasing to God and that all we do and say will honor His Name. Pray the Holy Spirit guides and directs Pastor Jim as he prepares the messages - that he will proclaim the truth with boldness.

Pray for comfort and peace for the family of Willie Sumrall as he passed on to his heavenly Father on Sunday. Thanks to God for Willie's life and witness. Pray for strength and provisions for Linda and his family.

iNTERCEDE is a ministry of intercessory prayer.  1 Timothy 2:1 tells us that we are to  make "requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving for everyone."  This is a practice which we are all called to do as the body of Christ.  You are invited to participate in this by:

"Pray for the Children" is a collaborative effort of over 50 churches in the greater Houston area to pray for the children in our city.

As we prepare for school to start again for our children and youth, let's focus our hearts and minds on Christ Jesus, and on His heart for all children, as we pray:

  • that they are loved unconditionally, regardless of where they are from 

  • that they have necessary provisions

  • that they are healthy 

  • that they are safe

  • that they grow in mind, body and spirit

  • that their parents are wise and caring

  • that we as the Faith Community do our part to ensure their welfare
