Have you ever considered the infinity of God and how that one word describes everything about God? Infinity is a difficult concept to understand. How can something have no limits; how can it continue forever in every dimension, and in every capacity? When you start to pray, try thinking about God as infinite in every way.

That is exactly what God is – infinite in His Existence, Presence, Wisdom, Power, Unchanging Nature, Sovereignty, Holiness, Love, Mercy and the list goes on. What a hopeful concept to consider that the God we worship has no limits, no bounds, and that nothing is impossible for Him. As His children, we have access to His power. That is so encouraging when we consider all the things we want to accomplish.

As you prayerfully consider the new opportunities for prayer, Bible study, and community ministry, be aware of your concept of God.  Be aware that even with a very busy schedule, God is infinitely faithful and will allow you the freedom to fulfill your desire to grow closer to Him and to know His Will and Purpose for your life. Let’s use this Bible verse from Psalm 147:5 to focus and meditate on God’s infinite greatness. He will bless our faithfulness.

Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
